Holly Taylor MA CCC/SLP has over two decades of experience as a Pediatric Speech Therapist, working with Cuyahoga and Lorain county families. Holly graduated with a BS in Biological Anthropology in 1992 from The University of Michigan and then completed her MA in Speech/Language Pathology at Case Western Reserve University in 1996.
Holly Taylor MA CCC/SLP completed her clinical year of fellowship (CFY) at Murray Ridge School with The Lorain County Board of MRDD, working with children ages preschool through intermediate level with varying developmental disabilities. She gained invaluable experience with many communication disorders and treatment options, including social skill training and training students with augmentative communication devices. Following her CFY experience, Holly worked at Rehab Services Inc., a rehabilitation staffing agency based out of Seven Hills OH. There she supplied speech and language services in nursing homes, outpatient clinics and in home health care. It was here that she decided her primary love was working with children in the home and outpatient environment. While at RSI, Holly was also a clinical manager, overseeing a staff of 15-20 OT, PT and SLP therapists. Next Holly moved to Jaworski Physical Therapy in Elyria and North Ridgeville, where she was able to focus on the pediatric clients in the outpatient setting and in the home. Currently, Holly owns and operates a private practice, Dynamic Speech, which was founded in 2009 in North Ridgeville and currently operates out of Skyvision Centers in Westlake. Holly has a therapy dog, Milo, who often accompanies her to the clinic. She also continues to provide home care in Lorain county and western Cuyahoga County to her clients who are unable to travel to the clinic. Her primary areas of specialty include the birth to 18 year old population, language development, autism/Aspergers syndrome, social skill development, apraxia of speech and caregiver/family education. She also provides IEP services for home-schooled students. Holly focuses on the needs of the family as a whole and incorporates them into the therapy process. Families and caregivers will learn how best to maximize generalization of the skills learned in the therapy room to the home and community environments.
Holly’s personal life includes her husband, Jeffrey Taylor and two fabulous sons, as well as 2 dogs, an amazon parrot and lots of horses. She is very involved in the family horse boarding and training business, Blue Ridge Farm located in North Ridgeville, and spends her summers
traveling and showing horses all over the Midwest and East Coast.
